AN ESTHETIC PHILOSOPHY IN PICARDO’S PAINTINGS

PICARDO’s paintings are rhythmically composed, creating a powerful visual space for viewers. The movement of human bodies shapes carries the eye through the entire composition, engaging an expressive dialogue between color, gesture organic lines, and space. In Picardo’s work, shape-making becomes its own language like a sublime sensory experience.

Over a decade most of the body of art works that I have been producing are primarily for the creative activity that I personally named experimentation out of the power of emotions, or any subject related to humanity.

 Creating a piece of art is about sharing the way I experience the world, so that helps me to change the course of my way of expression through my work. Visualization is such an effective mechanism for storytelling, for example: it took me a while to learn proper English language, I didn’t feel confident for many years, and I ended up using the images as an anchor.
